I wouldn't be buying a used unit though, the T300 should get more than a few years of use if cared for properly. This is the vent on the top right of the unit as you sit behind the wheel. The easiest being just to bluetack a 40mm usb case fan to the outside of the unit above the vent that sits above the motor, blowing outwards to try and extract some more heat. Leave it running for ten mins after each session so the fans can cool it and there are other fan mods you can do too. And even if it doesn't feel strong enough, I'd encourage you to try for a few days at about 50pc as after a while you get used to it. For one, run the FFB as low as you can take it. What can you do about it? Realistically lots. Mine did this and I swapped the motor out for a refurb one. The T500 was arguably built pretty well, the T300 has cooling issues which will in time lead to the motor stator becoming detached from the rotating axle.
